An Ox of 2 Halfs
21 May 2021
White Star Running returns once again to Rushmore Estate in Wiltshire and its amazing countryside scenery to host the popular Ox weekend of races.
The 'Ox of 2 Halfs' is a brand-new marathon-distance (ish) event for 2021, set in the same surroundings as the other races over this weekend. It offers a unique challenge for those brave enough to take this on! The marathon is so-named because each half is in a different part of the estate. The first half is in the valleys of the estate, and the second half is in the Cranborne Chase woods… but not the same route as the Ox Frolic.
There is a twist… the first half is all about exploring and taking in the nice views; the second half features a few quirky tasks for you to complete along the way! Instructions for these tasks will be kept secret until the day of the race. Prepare for anything and everything, as this race is not for people without a sense of humour.
The race starts at 9am.
The cut-off time for the Ox of 2 Halfs event is 7 hours.
Minimum age requirement for entry is 18 years old. For general race questions, see our FAQs.
There will be hot food and drink vendors ready to serve you pre- and post-race.
Prizes are awarded on the line for the first three male and female runners, with all finishers receiving a medal and goodies for completing the event.
Camping can be booked in our exclusive 'athletes' village' here. Alternatively, there is a list of local accommodation here: Accommodation Listings.
