The Dark Moors 5 mile race is set within the grounds of Moors Valley Country Park with a fantastic chance to run around the trails and woods in the Dark.

This 5 mile course is one lap of the trails, pathways and woodland and a great start to the new year.

Once you finished a bit of running and messing about in the dark, you’ll be rewarded with a medal and your goodies.

We will also give our unique awards to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd man and lady for the race.

Race starts at: 5:00pm

Race registration from: 4pm. Numbers will be posted out for anyone who enters up to Sunday 10th January, after this date you will need to come and collect your number on site.

There will be hot food and drink vendors ready to serve you pre and post race. 

Cut off time is 1.5 hours

Minimum age requirement for entry is 15 years.

All competitors must wear a head or chest torch.

Free Parking is included within your race entry, so you can arrive on site anytime after 3.30pm to take advantage of this offer

The Country Park is open all day for visitors and has a wide range of activities if you want to make a day of it.
