Spring Larmer Tree 7 Mile- Dog Race start

White Star running returns to the Wiltshire downs for the Larmer Tree Races once again, thanks to the Rushmoor Estate for letting us run round their back yard. The Rushmore Estate feels like our second home. At the beautiful Larmer Tree gardens, one of Britain’s poshest race venues. 5 epic trail races, a bit hilly, might be a bit moist under foot and guaranteed…. might be beautiful weather.
A new edition to the Spring Larmer race line up, offering an exciting distance for those just starting out their season, the route takes in the valley's of Rushmoor Estate with spectacular views across the countryside. This is a tough race, with some steep climbs, desents and the most amazing views to reward yourself with. This race weekend always has the unexpected element of surprise – we’ve had sunshine, snow, sleet, which just adds to this very rewarding event. There are brilliant marshals along the route for you, with aid stations to help keep you fueled along the way.
This race allows you to run with your K9 companion and experience the route together, as part of our dog friendly races. Each runner can have up to 2 dogs and will be in wave starts of 30 runners, approximately 15 minutes ahead of the main race. Race starts at 9.15 and race numbers will be posted out to all entrants who enter before 28th February along with a parking pass. If you enter after this date you will need to collect your race number on the day. Obviously we do not know what the situation will be with Covid19. Procedures will be put in place to ensure peoples safety. For those of you that enter later and need to collect your numbers from race admin please allow plenty time prior to the start of the race to ensure you can be done in a safe manner..
There will be hot food and drink vendors ready to serve you pre and post race.
Prizes are awarded on the line for 1-3 male and female, with all finishers receiving their medal and a unique WSR tea towel and mug set.
