Spring Larmer Tree Half Marathon
26 November 2021
White Star Running returns to the Wiltshire Downs for the Larmer Tree Races once again. Thank you to the Rushmore Estate for letting us run round their backyard – it’s starting to feel like our second home! Based at the beautiful Larmer Tree Gardens, one of Britain’s poshest race venues, we’ve got five epic trail races for you. They're a bit hilly; it might be a bit moist underfoot with guaranteed mud…. or it might be beautiful weather! Who knows?
The half-marathon route takes in the valleys of the Rushmore Estate, with spectacular views across the countryside. This is a tough race, with some steep climbs, sharp descents and the most amazing views to reward yourself with. This race weekend always has the unexpected element of surprise – we’ve had sunshine, snow, sleet… which just adds to this very rewarding event. There are brilliant marshals along the route for you, with aid stations to help keep you fuelled up. If you’re not sure what to expect, here's a race review from the 2019 race to help you get a feel for the race.
The race starts at Noon and race numbers will be posted out to all entrants who enter before 28th February. If you enter after this date, you’ll need to collect your race number on the day.
There will be hot food and drink vendors ready to serve you pre- and post-race.
The cut-off time for the half-marathon race is 4 hours and our minimum age requirement for entry is 17 years old. For general race questions, see our FAQs.
Prizes are awarded on the line for the first three male and female runners, with all finishers receiving their medal and some yummy Dorset food and drink for their race goodies.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer camping for the Larmer Races. However, there is a list of local accommodation here: accommodation listings.
