Winter Larmer Tree 7 Mile
26 November 2021
Larmer in winter. It's just like spring really – same amazing scenery and tough challenging trails, just on a frosty sunny day. What's not to love?
The seven-mile race is a new edition to the Larmer race line-up, offering an exciting distance for those just starting out their racing season. The route takes in the valleys of the Rushmore Estate, with spectacular views across the countryside. This is a tough race, with some steep climbs, sharp descents and the most amazing views to reward yourself with. There are brilliant marshals along the route for you, with aid stations to help keep you fuelled up.
The race starts at 9.30am and race numbers will need to be collected on the morning of the race. Obviously, we don’t yet know what the situation will be with Covid-19. Procedures will be put in place to ensure people’s safety, so please allow plenty of time prior to the start of the race to ensure you can collect your numbers in a safe manner.
There will be hot food and drink vendors ready to serve you pre- and post-race.
The cut-off time for the 7-mile race is 2 hours and our minimum age requirement for entry is 16 years old. For general race questions, see our FAQs.
Prizes are awarded on the line for the first three male and female runners, with all finishers receiving their medal and a unique WSR tea towel and mug set.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer camping for the Larmer Races. However, there is a list of local accommodation here: accommodation listings.
